My Degrees
Bachelor of Science, 2003-2007, Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
I have studied my Bachelors at Nushivani Institute of Technology (NIT), Babol, Iran, which was at the time engineering faculty of University of Mazandaran (UMZ), Babolsar, Iran.
My thesis title was “Video Tracking and Shooting of Fixed and Non-Fixed Targets” which was implemented under supervision of Dr. Miar Naimi. I would like to invite you to watch the rather entertaining video of the performance of implemented system here.
During this time I had the honor of being recognized as the top university student as well as winning several partial tuition fee awards.
Master of Science, 2007-2009, Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
My Masters with the thesis title of “Designing a High Speed Divider over Galois Field, Using Hybrid Analog-Digital Circuits” was accomplished under supervision of Dr. Shahhoseini and Dr. Abrishamifar at Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST), Tehran., Iran
During this period I received the full grant and support from the European Conference on Circuit Theory and Design 2009 (ECCTD’09) in order to attend and present my papers in the conference. I was also recognized as the elite student in IUST.
Doctor of Philosophy, 2010-2015, Electrical and Computer Engineering.
I did my PhD program at Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver, Canada, under supervision of Dr. Mirabbasi and Dr. Lampe. My thesis title was “Power line communications in vehicles: channel measurements and impedance matching networks”.
During my PhD, I have won the “Best Poster in Theme” award at the AUTO21 Highly Qualified People (HQP) competition 2010 and “People’s Choice Award” in their HQP video competition in 2013.
