Current Courses

I am currently in charge of the System-on-Chip (SoC) track of Embedded Systems Master Program at the TU Wien.

SoC Architecture and Design

In this course the students will get familiarized with the basics of SoCs and its design process. This includes the main components, design flow, manufacturing process, chip basics, performance metrics and floor planning.

For this course, I was nominated for the "Best Lecture Award" 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 as well as "Best Teacher Award" 2018. 2019, and 2020.

SoC Design Seminar

The course consists of guided research on one of the of the state-of-the-art topics in SoC. The students need to write a scientific paper/report on it and present it.

SoC, Advanced Course

By the end of this course a successful student will be able to list and prioritize the design requirements based on the design objectives, explore compromise space of a design and optimize it.

Partial Involvement

Occasionally, I also help in some other courses such as Digital Integrated Circuits and Selected Topics - Computer Systems. My involvement in those courses is usually as a guest lecturer, holding only one or two sessions.
